Its alright fsk09, you guys will probally be great. You got 2nd in states during xc and you guys will probally have to find the right combination. Give yourself more credit!!!!

XC sucess does not always translate into a successful 4x8. Last year, FSK finished 1-5 at counties in xc and won states, but were fifth in the 4x8 at indoor counties. Century finished fifth at xc counties and not even in the top 10 at states, but won the county 4x8 and finished second in the state by just 1.5s.
FSK would have easily won a 4x3200 at counties, but the 800 is very different from xc

Yeah, the 4x800 is as close to a sprint as you can get for a distance runner, and that's why some people like Nick Hruch are so good at the 800 but not quite as good at longer distances. But anyways fsk09, your 4x800 is probably better than ours.

Nick Hruch had one of the top 1600 times in the county last year also. Had he not gotten hurt he was likely to run that at champs (he ran it at MVALs and nearly won it). So to say Nick was good at the 800 cause it was close to a sprint is a little off.
