We won the Liberty meet today, but I'm still curious as to how Archbishop Spalding didn't win. I'm pretty sure Wetzel didn't run (he's from Spalding, right?) and I thought that they had beaten us anyways. Were the points miscounted initially? Anyways, the meet was a lot of fun even though Tim Sowders narrowly beat me out for 15th. I definitely have some more work to do. Good luck to everyone at MVALs and counties.

I thought the meet was run poorly. During the guys varsity race, the chute got backed up BEFORE the finish line! And appaernty their was girls cutting the course during the race.

I think the meet was ran farely well... it went fairly fast and smoothly.. you cant help the fact that sooo many runners came in all at the same time.. but other than that. i think it was a great meet!

Wow, harsh criticism. First, I don't now of any girls that cut the course. I know of one girl that ran the wrong way - but that wasn't our fault.
Also, the chute got backed up, I never saw it go past the finish line, but did see it get backed up. We had two chutes working. We had over 400 people entered in the JV race, that's a heck of a lot.
I think things went off really well. Didn't help that one runner didn't give us their race number in the chute, which messed up the results. same thing actually happened in the girls race too, but I was able to figure out who it was (they only gave us half of the little piece on the bottom of the race number).

It was a pretty disappointing meet actually. It was run fine, but I was disappointed that Walter Johnson's varsity team didn't show, Atholoton's varsity was...I don't know, and Rob Wetzel didn't run. I had fun though, and for the first time this year truly had a good race. Cheers.

Atholton did a workout before the race. Ran pretty well considering.
Two course records fell. And Howard looked great!

I am sorry if I offended anyone but I was one of the guys who got backed up before the finish line, and I was at least five guys deep. Once I got to the chute, I saw the chute to the left fill up with guys, so i guess that they corrected the problem when they realized it. And the girls that cut the course were in the back, and on JV,but still cutting the course none the less.

I just checked mdrunning and it says SC boys came in 2nd instead of 1st. Also says Liberty girls came in 3rd ahead of Mt Hebron. So, do we do a trophy switch?!

I think we should just keep the trophies we have

I am not sure, but I think the SC boys already made the switch in the trophy. The girls trophy, I am not sure.
