As much as I'd like to see Century pull it off, Howard and Hereford look to be too strong. Howard put 7 in the top 10 in a very good region.

coach can't disagree with Hereford and Howard looking strong. But how can you possibly say Howard's region was tough. Athloton's girls finished 2nd in that region and they have been weak all year. The West region is by far tougher. If you rate Hereford and Howard 1st and 2nd, the 4 Carroll schools are probably 3-6 or at worst 3-7.
now I realize Middletown is short and fast but did you notice Century avg'd under 20:00 and had all 7 runners in under 21:00. Do remember either of those being done by a carroll school?

Last year Liberty put 6 girls under 21 and the 7th ran 21:05.
The South is a tough region, not because of teams, but because they have a lot of individual girls that are good.
The carroll teams will still have to deal with the East teams Stephen decatur is always tough at states, and Queen Anne's and Kent Island have been tough this year. And you can't forget about the Middletown girls.
