So any thoughts regarding tomorrow's meet? Will all the teams have their full varsity teams? This and especially Lion's Den should be good previews for the county meet. Our team plans to run it as a race, but we're not going all-out until Saturday.

Curious to see how Winters Mill boys do - they've improved a lot from last season...

I think most teams will probably run there varsity here but use the race as a workout. So it most likely won't be a good indicator of how counties will go.
Lion's den will give a better picture of the way things may turn out, but you can never be to sure. Some schools may not peak until counties, while others may start to fall apart.

So where was Liberatore? And would he have been enough to put Liberty ahead of Winters Mill?

And do you think any of the runners actually made an effort to hold back in the race because of saturday?

could someone fill me on on what happened. I take it that Westminster won the race overall. Who won the races individually?

I'm sure all the runners ran hard yesterday, but still made sure they saved something for Saturday knowing it is a more important meet.

I am suppose to get results at 1:00 today - but I am in class, so it may not go up right away (I will put it up during my break).

Well, it helped a bit that Liberatore and Findeison (sp?) didn't run, and anyways, our 3-5 guys stayed together. Our team was not at 100% due to hard workouts earlier this week, but I will say some pushed themselves pretty hard. I'm not sure how LIberatore would have affected Liberty's score.

I won in 17:34 to Westminster #1's 17:46 (?) Tringali and Souders followed, I think. Erin Slifer won in 21:14 to Molly Donovan's 21:21. Rachel Sykes was pulled early in the race due to shin problems. SC trained through the meet and treated it as a workout, but we got owned any way you look at it. See everybody Saturday at Bull Run.

I guess i'll be the first one to say it... The meet was really great and stuff but the scoring was unorginized. Someone thought someone else was giving out place cards for boys so they didn't. I don't blame any one it was just the first time that ever happened we all make mistakes and well nothing was really wrong with the times so it's all good. see you guys at BULL RUN!!!
