As of now:
1 - River Hill (handily) 2 - Mt Hebron 3 - FSK 4 - Oakland Mills
close between 2,3,4
what do you predict?

well if fsk's 5th man does not step it up key will lose. but if there 5th man does step it up they have a really good chance of winning it...
1) FSK----If there 5th man steps it up, if not they will get second or third 2) River Hill---- if keys 5th man steps it up, if not they will win by a lot. 3) Mount Hebron---- it will be close 4) Oakland Mills---- It will be close

Putting a "little" pressure on Jesse Henderson? Sounds like he's to blame if FSK doesn't win States. He can only do his best!

well he is the 5th man the pressure is always on him... no one is blaming anyone here, if fsk losess they lose as a team, its the teams fault if they dont win states...im just saying he can do better then he has been doin. i know what he can and cannot do and he can do better.

It's interesting to note that Henderson at Lion's Den was the second best #5 man in the county, losing by only one place to Century's #5 man. It's not that Henderson isn't stepping up, it's that River Hill has a fantastic top 5.

I think fsk's number 5 guy is running great. I'm sure he is trying his hardest to get up there with the rest of the guys on his team.

Jesse Henderson is running great, but im from FSK and i've run workouts with him and during those workouts he is our 3rd man on the team, we just don't understand why he is not running up with Haufler and Holz during the races where it actually counts. When we have 4 of our top 5 in the top 15 in a race and then our 5th guy gets 74th its very frustrating b/c we know he can do better. But we will see, there is still about a month left to states...Good Luck everyone!!!

I think even if henderson runs great they wont be able to touch riverhill they are frankly just way to good
top 3 fsk can match river hill but after that river hill just has too much depth

I disagree, I think that if we can get our 5th guy up there, we can be competiton...Our top 4 is beating River Hill's top 4 by 10-20 points...but then our 5th guy comes along (Henderson) and we get 2nd losing by 40 points...But there are just so many " ifs"...but i guess we will see...

i disagree also, remember that Jesse has been running the workouts as Keys 3rd man. i think once Jesse gets it in his mind set that he can stick with the guys when the race starts. he will realize that he has great potential, he will also realize that he is not afriad to stick with the top guys anymore. therfore River Hill will fall to FSK and FSK will have their second state championship title.

Well said about jesse, Colin. But i don't think it will be that easy to beat River Hill, But i do know that its going to be intense at states for 2A, River Hill+ FSK+Mount Hebron+ Oakland Mills= EPIC!

Its not going to be easy. but once jesse gets his head in the game you'll have a much better chance of doing this....... I wish states was like this for us...lol
