Ultimate Pickup Games on Wednesdays this summer (2007). Bring a friend. Multi-generational. All skill levels. For more information go to: www.FreedomUltimate.orgEmail - INFO@FreedomUltimate.org Clinics – Saturdays - June 2nd (1pm) and June 9th (1pm) – will sponsor teaching clinics before the start of pickup games. Come out and learn more about the sport and how to throw a disc. Clinics will be at the Liberty High fields near route 32. Pick-up Games – Wednesdays – June 13th – August 15th starting at 6:30 PM Pick up games are informal, and open to people of all ages and abilities. We want this league to be inter-generational and co-educational. It is a great way to stay active and re-connect with friends. F.U.N is for youth and adults. Play will be at Hodges Park. |

I was thinking maybe next summer we can set up some type of ultimate frisbee league?? Just a thought... That is the hope. We need to build up a base of players - hopefully these pickup games will get that started. Just having a regularly scheduled pickup game and a place would be a big step. We need to get a wider audience than ERR/LHS. Next steps are recognition by Freedom Rec Council, get a field, etc. Spread the word. Get your parents to come out (when they were goof-off college kids I bet they played a lot frisbee (if not Ultimate)). Sound off on what day and time is best for you. |

Well I can only continue this for a few more weeks than I'm up at college til next summer... by the way this is frank, just to let you know... I'll play next summer whenever you have it....

I doubt there will be that big of a crowd becuase a lot of kids will be on the ERR retreat this week

Frank and Walter will be there... haha I love my frisbee haha, so theres at least two going to be there... Just bring some water and hydrate yourself during the day, its not that bad at 7....

I'll be there - and will bring a water jug. Since this is a Relay night there should be a few other folks there. Maybe we can take it a little easier in the heat.
