only thing i didn't like about it was that it required 6 batteries and they got drained so fast

yeah, so definately was playing some cool game on snes at chris's house a few nights ago. Can't remember what it was called, but it's so basic and long and that is what makes a great game, not secrets every 5 seconds to distract from the real plot
oh, and contra is awesome too, cause theres no long story, you just start out shooting
oh and unlimited ammo is another great thing that snes had, instead of spending half the game looking for ammo to play the game.

It's a good game, but is quite difficult to understand. Its basicly a parody of western culture, but its got a lot of hidden messages.
The sequel, Mother 3 (Earthbound was Mother 2, and the Earthbound game that was made, and never released in the US for NES was Mother) was released in Japan a couple months ago and its almost finished being fan translated.

Eh, theres no word on an official US release as of now but the fan translation is expected to be finished some time this fall.

havent played any of Earthbound games but Mario Kart is definately a pasta party worthy game!

Although Mario Kart is good, Mario Party is the best Pasta party game.
