A couple people have asked about what teams are coming to the North High Invite on Friday, and this is what I found on Highschoolsports.net. Most of the Frederick, Washington and Carroll County Teams are coming (exceptions: SC, Winters Mill, Clear Spring) which means most of the MVAL schools will be there.
Teams I know of:
Boonsboro Brunswick Catoctin Century Frederick FSK Liberty Linganore Middletown North Carroll North Hagerstown Smithsburg South Hagerstown TJ Tuscarora Urbana Walkersville Westminster Williamsport

usually there are a number of non-MVAL schools as well. A few years ago there were over 30 schools and you couldn't walk around the infield it was so crowded. based on the size of teams so far this year, expect another crowded arena. lots of germs to share!
normally this is a very watered down developmental meet, slightly above a speed workout. normally no 4x800 or 3,200. they run the 200 and 400 instead of the 300 and 500. and sprint heats are not seeded. i've seen them put 2 to a lane for the 200 at this meet, sharing the lane the entire lap! i believe schools have to do their own timing. guess N Hagerstown makes more money on this one without having to pay for officials. kind of tough gathering and preparing your runners and having to stand by the finish line the entire meet.
i would imagine Carroll Co schools will just use this as a tuneup for next week's Frostbite.
cheers and good luck to all

Westminster will not be competing at Frost Bite so means Counties after that.

According what I received there will be a 4x8 but no 3200. 55H, 55, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 4x8 and then 4x2 and 4x4 if time permits. We do have to get our own times. I really wish someone would take this meet and actually make it a meet instead of a 5 hour cluster of chaos.

Oh ok, I read your e-mail before I read your post. It doesn't say 4x800. Just 4x200 and 4x400 Time Permitting. You have the same one as me!

Coach, how did Liberatore and Hruch run in the open 800? My coach said she had them at 2:03 and 2:04 respectively. I kind of wish I had run in that heat, I might have done better. Its good for your confidence to win a race once in awhile though, even if it is not the fastest.

I had them at 2:02 and 2:03 low. Another coach told me he got them at 2:01 and 2:02, so I tend to think my times were more accurate. I think Eric could have gone faster, he seemed to coast the last 50 meters cause he had Nick. Nick also had a bad start, so he actually worked a lot harder to get up to the front then Eric did.
You had a good race, what was your time?
