We (North Carroll) have our first meet tomorrow at Middletown, which is the james fraser valley relay meet. I believe century is going as well and it should be a fun meet. I will try to post times for as well as I remember them.

Liberty, TJ @ Westminster tri meet went well.
TJ girls won, Liberty 2nd, Westminster 3rd
Liz Pickett (Liberty) won the 3200 Lisa Robbins, Caitlin Riebau, STacey Smith went 1-2-3 in the 1600 for Liberty Caitlin Riebau and Lisa Robbins went 1-2 in the 800 for Liberty
Liberty boys won, TJ 2nd, Westminster 3rd
Andrew Cross, Liberty, outkicked Rob Kelvey, Westminster in the 3200. Jim Ridder won the 1600, I believe Jake Sisler got second. Nick Hruch won the 800 with teammate Jim Ridder right behind him Brad Williams, Liberty won TJ, LJ and the 200 Nick won High Jump, but they closed the Pit after he got to jump only once (and won). Liberty boys 4x4 ran 3:40 and won. Alex Paczynski of Liberty took 2nd in the 400 to a TJ runner.
This is all I remember off the top of my head.

Do you know the scores for the girls and boys teams? I thought that it was a very good first meet. I set my PR in the 4 x 800 and tied my mile PR already. I'm excited for counties, the kelvey cross duel is always a close one and that kick of cross's is a beast. Nick did awesome even though he almost ran the 800 with a t-shirt on. Brad definitally has a lot of talent going into this season. Hopefully john lopez will be back for westminster, we might put up more of a fight then. I'm anxious for counties, thats all i have to say!

I know for Boys Liberty had 79, TJ 65, not sure about Westminster but it wasn't right behind TJ. Might have been low 50s?
Girls, TJ had over 100, maybe 117, I have my girls scoring 45, but I could be off.

yeah tomorrow is gonna be fun. I'm in the DMR and 4 x 800 (not sure about the 4 x 800 actually). I'm so ready to finally run a race again.

lol, i seriously would have ran with that shirt on had i not known until someone pointed it out. And siz, you were standing right next to me, the least you could have done was i like to run and play you head to the side and stare. But good job anyway today, you did very good. Too cold really to be putting up remarkable times but hey, its the fact we were out there that counts. And siz, lets get through the pre-champ season before we worry about counties, lets not be hasty now. And good luck everybody!

Yes the tri meet went very well today.
Westminster v. TJ v. Liberty
There was a great display of sportsmanship, I remember shaking hands before and after the 400 and 4x400 events with my opponents. I had also lost my watch while getting ready to run in the 400 and after asking around I was pleased to learn that one of the timers had picked it up for me.
I want to thank all meet officials and competitors.
So I was wondering, even though it's very early in the season, what are some of the top long jump distances so far in the county (guys and girls)?
Also, is there anyone particularly strong?

I thought I heard one of the girls teams at 75 or 76 but the cold may have had me hearing things.

Westminster goes to south carroll to run against Tuscarora and SC. should see some nice times from distance people there. i dont think SC or T has much sprinting depth but they can prove me wrong any time.

Unless they have some new people on the boys side Tuscarora has Steinhardt in hurdles, Leighton in mid-distance or mile. They have some other decent mid-distance guys. The girls side is stacked in the sprints. They have a freshman Victoria Kennedy and Jasmin Ingram and a host of other decent sprinters.
