Tristaterunnur has a page up with some info on the MVAL Championships. Carroll County Running and Frederick County Running are trying to help them with getting some info up on this page that might be interesting. So keep checking back as they put new stuff up (like performance list, heat sheets, etc) www.tristaterunnur.com/./mvalchamp08ind.html

Question:
Why do the performance lists show results from a developmental meet? There were no official scorers at the North Hagerstown meet.

Both the Carroll County Performance List and Frederick County Performance List were combined (as well as added results from the meets N. Hagerstown and S. hagerstown had competed in) to create these performance list. The Carroll County Performance list included results from the field events, 800 and 1600 from the North High Invite - all coaches had submitted their kids performances from this meet.
I hope that answers your question.

Thanks coach. I thought the performance lists were the "official MVAL" lists. Now I understand, they're not official but useful results.
Coach, one more thing. Whoever is posting past meet winners needs to correct the 2006 Chesapeake girls, as Linganore won that one handily. Also, the first year (2004) winners - Linganore girls and TJ boys, are missing.
Good luck on Saturday

I was trying to come up with a list, but hadn't sent it in yet. I know why there is an error (long story - basically one of the locations of the results pulls up the wrong results for 2005-6 season, I caught it, but someone else apparently didn't), and I will get them to fix it.
I have all the winners except who won the girls Piedmont in 2006, boys Chesapeake in 2006, and all the winners in the Piedmont in 2004. Do you know them?

Girls Piedmont 2006 - Winters Mill (Liberty was close 2nd) Boys Chesapeake 2006 - TJ Girls Piedmont 2004 - Middletown (Winters Mill was close 2nd) Boys Piedmont 2004 - Middletown
hope this helps

I'll claim that mistake. I went through each year and pulled up the MVAL results. It didn't occur to me to check the year on the results to make sure they were in the right place.

I know right now of 3 changes to the Chesapeake list. I will make those changes tonight and get a new list out to all the sites tonight.

The Chesapeake list is up to date. There was a mistake with the order on the one event a pair of names switched in another. The online list will be what is used to seed the meet.

just with events some kids are doing. Looks like we could have some exciting things for Carroll County.
SC girls won the Antietam. They went 1-2-3 in the 3200
