Just curious....do you know of anyone who would qualify for any of these?

Nick Hruch (Liberty) qualified two years in a row in High Jump for Nike Nationals and also qualified in the 400 last year. Andrew Cross (Liberty) qualified as a freshman for the freshman mile (thought he finished in the top 10 too).
Kate Paczynski of Liberty has nearly cleared 5'4, the qualifying height is 5'5, so it isn't out of range.
Maura Linde of Century is only 10 seconds from the freshman mile. If Samantha had lost so much time with injuries, I would think she could have had a shot at that too (only 20 seconds off when she ran it in December for the first time).
Brendan Morales of Westminster is only a foot from qualifying in Shot Put.
Those are the ones I know off the top of my head.

do you have to hit those exact times because i was looking at last years results and only like 11 out of 30 some teams who hit the quallifying times in the 4x800. do you think these teams lied about times to get in or did they just allow the top 30 some teams who enter race.

I'm not sure, you would think they would be pretty particular about that. I know they ask when they achieved the mark or time. I remember two years ago Kent Island ran their boys 4x800. They won 2a3a states that year (beat Revelle/Bazell from atholton), and had run sub 8:20 - maybe around 8:16? They set the state record that year for 2a.

The marks are strict. Remember that NIN is 3-4 weeks after most Indoor States. So what you're seeing is the "bounce" from a number of schools that peaked in early February, qualified for NIN, and started backing off their workouts, usually because of outdoor. Check out your school in 2002. They qualified with a 8:12 but ran 8:36 at NIN, and they had two individual state champs on that team! It's hard for all four members of a relay team to stay sharp for an extended period.
