Crossfire Race Series

This summer the Eldersburg Rogue Runners will be hosting a series of races in memory of our great friend, Andrew Cross. The Crossfire Summer Race Series is a series of low-key 5k races in the Eldersburg area. Each race will be a small local race with no individual awards or prizes, and will be presented at very low cost. Entry fees will be only $5 for non-members, and $2 for ERR members. At the conclusion of the series, we will present awards for the top 3 male and female runners based on points earned for all three races. Registration will be race day only, and will begin one hour before the scheduled race start. Email questions to [e-mail].

The first race is scheduled for June 26th at 9:00 am at Freedom Park. The race will be run on the paved trails - twice around the big loop and once around the small will give us 5k. Start and finish will be at the big parking lot in the rear of the park. Join us for a great memorial to Andrew Cross.

Race # 2 is this Saturday the 17th at 8 am. Cooper Park in Sykesville (across from Sykesville Middle School) is the start and finish. A quick loop around the middle school then an out and back along Warfield Road to Buttercup.

Race day registration only - starts at 7 am.

The third series race will be held on the cross country course at Liberty HS on August 28th at 8:00 am.
