Carroll County and Blue Ridge from Lion's Den

I had to pull out all the county runners from the results of the Lion's Den to do the rankings, so I figured why not post them up here since all teams were there. And since 5 of the 7 county teams make up the Blue Ridge Conference, it is pretty easy to pull out just the Blue Ridge Conference results too. So here they are. I know a few runners were missing from the county - Doug Findeison of SC, Connor Trexler of SC and Erin Beane of Century.

That's quite interesting

I'm a little surprised to see century ahead of NC and SC on the guys side.

On the girls side... This is another reason to expect an exciting race at counties between SC and Century.

Century has been running pretty close to SC on the boys side. They beat them at Bull Run, lost to them by 9 points at the first meet. SC also ran without Findeison and Trexler. I would think the two would be close at counties. NC didn't seem to run as well yesterday as in other meets.

Does any one think that there "may" be a possibility that Jake Zamostny could beat Arthur and Win counties? I mean jake was only 6 seconds behind Arthur what do you guys think? no negative remarks please i don't mean anything bad.

I think Jake certainly has a chance, but I also think that Arthur could have run faster. He looked a lot more comfortable coming in and probably could have gone up a level if someone had pushed him at the finish.

But I also think there may be 1 or 2 other county runners that have a shot at counties.
