Always boys predictions but no girls predictions...

I pulled out the county runners from MVALs, and this is the result. Only a few ranked runners didn't run/finish. For boys - Eric Liberatore [Liberty] who is the 5th ranked runner, and Liberty's highest ranked runner. Eric has beaten the 4th ranked runner this year, but also has lost to the 6th and 7th ranked runners this year. For girls - 19th ranked Katie Mead [Century] and 22nd ranked runner Taylor Mongold [Westminster]. Katie has been in Century's top 5 throughout the year and could make it a great meet between Century and South Carroll. Westminster has had a great top 3 comparable with anybody in the county, and with a full squad, someone could step up for them to pull them closer.

I think it should be brought up how well I think the Century boys team ran at MVALs. I don't think Pat Wachter had his best day (more of a compliment to how well I think Pat has run this year) - but Pat has been their #1 runner at meets this year, but was their #6 runner at MVALs (only 4 seconds from Liberty's #2 runner). Even if Eric Liberatore would have run and won the meet (just with county runners as scored below), Century still would have beaten Liberty by 14 points. They ran quite well, and maybe Pat did run well, his teammates just ran extremely well.

i just wanna give kudos to the westminser boys proved me right when i said we'd have a strong squad again this year. maybe not so much dependent on top runners but more on the pack. fsk, doing the same thing, only the pack is WAY up there

JV girls is last, not sure if they will stagger the boys and girls JV or start the girls JV when the boys JV finishes, but that is what I have right now.

What's up with Liberatore from Liberty? Is he injured?

he was sick, but I was told he probably would have been held out anyways, just to save him for next week. His achilles got inflamed at Lion's Den, but he seems to be making a good recovery and is just waiting for regionals.
