quick ones for distance: 4 x 800: Liberty, Century, Middletown 3200: Hemu, Cross, Welsh, Leathers, Haser, Boyer
Middletown will win the team crown with FSK not far behind.
Probly a good Carroll representation to make it to the state meet.

Liberty will finally be getting back to healthier and should be much tougher. Andrew in the 1600, the 4x8 team finally together, 4x4 team together, Brad racing again, should be a good meet.
Frederick could play a big factor. Two of FSK's strengths are also frederick's strengths. They could steal points from them

Frederick's top sprinter, Price, went down at our county meet. I would count him out.
Middletown did not look sharp at all at our county meet. They ended up 5th.

What happened to him?

I believe a severe hamstring issue. Also count out Shamika Patton from Frederick girls, knee injury.

What about Euler from Middletown. I saw 'NT' by his name in the 400 at Counties. Did they just use him in relays instead?

That I'm not sure of. I wasn't paying attention to that race except the last 100m.

High jump should be interesting to watch....Dyson vs. Hruch
also, the 1600 should be really close...seeing Jimmy Ridder go 4:35 at counties was amazing. I'd say Ridder, Welsh, Hemu, Boyer, and Leathers are all going to be coming in within 4 seconds of each other.

Hruch vs Dyson will be good, but it will be best at states when it really means something.
Don't forget Andrew Cross. He should be right in that mix too. Brown from North Hagerstown is also right there. Hemu may have the best chance of breaking away, but we'll see. I'm hoping it stays close.

Hemu can go sub 4:30's when he needs to. He's a phenomenal distance track runner. as for high jump, i think the county blood can do it. im rooting for ya nick.
Well, for all athletes from the county competeing in regionals over the next 4 days, i wish you the best of luck. Set some PR's, break some records, win some plaques. this should be quite a showing of carroll's growth at the state meet.

All I can comment on is the Frederick Co. girls. Frederick girls looked to be in a good position to do really well but without Patton they are in a tough spot. Zenner has been vaulting well, Fisher has been hurdling well and her triple jump has been impressive to say the least. Middletown girls are hard to figure out. They have a very good 4x2 and a few decent mid-distance girls. Their vaulters are pretty good also. But neither one of them have enough weapons to make a huge splash.
