You will be glad to know that the Running Retreat is filling up... that is the good news... The bad news is we are going to freeze registrations where they are. If you have signed up, you are registered and good to go.
We are freezing the registrations so that rising Freshmen will have a chance to go if they want.
So... what do you do if you waited and want to go? Here is what we suggest: Post a note here or send a note to your coach and make sure that somehow, somewhere, we know of your interest. We will keep a list and have an order based on who let us know first. So - speak up.
We can add space in groups of 4 - 5 by renting rustic cabins... and this is what we may do if we get a bunch of people on the list who want to go. We do have options. Let us know of your interest.
Also, if you are in 8th grade and think you may want to go on the retreat - obviously, we want you to go with us (this is why we have stopped upper-classmen from taking all the spaces). Sign up now - don't wait. We have 6 spaces left and upper classmen who want to go.
We are very pleased with the interest and are looking into ways to expand capacity so we can take more. Hang in there and check back here for the latest news.

Here are the people who have signed up thus far. Please remember, we want to allow room for freshmen, so if you are last on the list, we will do every thing we can to make room. We are looking into renting additional rooms at the Lodge (we have rented the entire Inn - which will hold 24 athletes and 6 chaperones). So, for each room, we will need an additional chaperone and can take 3 more athletes... check back here for updates... Bottom line is - if a freshman wants to go we would like for them to have that opportunity.
Preference is in the order that we received registrations:
Boys: 1) Danny Haines 2) Pat Wachter 3) Andrew Cross 4) Alex Engler 5) Eric Liberatore 6) Nick Hruch 7) Matt Little 8) Brandon Sisolak 9) Sean Dougherty 10) Pat Dougherty 11) Mike Meadows 12) Pat Kelsh 13) Karl Bohn 14) Jim Collins 15) Dan Rodriguez 16) Jose Cortez 17) Benjamin Smith 18) Dan Kelsh 19) Jordan Marcucci
Girls 1) Nichole Hale 2) Carly Reed 3) Jennifer Hensley 4) Lauren Ridder 5) Mercedes Weir 6) Hannah Kobett 7) Stacey Smith 8) Devin Calambro 9) Shannon Henretty 10)Lisa Robbins 11) Ashlee Horst 12) Molly Timberlake 13) Chance Hazelton 14) Abby Carlson 15) Marisa Roman

Just wanted to update what I have for the wait list as of 5/25. No change in the girls as far as I know:
Pat Dougherty (Wait List) Mike Meadows (Wait List) Pat Kelsh (Wait List) Karl Bohn (Wait List) Clay Collins (wait List)
Based on this, if there is a room added, it will be a guy's room for sure and we will put Freshmen in it or a combination of freshmen and the fellas on the list (with a College Chaperone). Karl and Clay - hang in there... news at 11.

Guys:
I enjoyed the retreat this year. You guys were great and made it easy to be a chaperone. Also - to the chaperones, great job (Dan Reedy, Boko, Kelly, Pippa, Matt K, Lee Dan and Bob - way to be).
OKAY - we need feedback. Not sure how this should work - but please let us know what worked well for you. I quizzed some folks in my car on the way back and here is some of what I heard:
- More time to swim in the lake. - More Free Time. - More Frisbee Golf - Run at Night... particularly on days when it is still 95 degrees at 5PM.
So... folks - please give us feedback. Webmaster, is there a way we can post survey here for those who went to fill out?
