Wolfsberger breaks 5-mile club standard
Heidi Wolfsberger, of Moosic, Pa., continued her impressive string of race performances this spring by winning the women's division of the Forty Fort Lions Old Fort 5-mile run in 28 minutes, 8 seconds.
Her winning time, good for sixth place overall in a field of 246, was 4:36 ahead of second place in the women's division.
The time eclipses the previous best 5 mile road time for CMAC runners by 55 seconds. The old standard of 29:03 was set by Jill Krebs in 2005 in Germantown.
