That was Kevin Spradlin taking the pictures. He writes for the Advocate. I would assume one of those pictures will end up in their next edition, but he will correct me if i'm wrong.
Kevin - any way we can get a hold of any of those pictures? Probably unlikely, but I would love to put them on the website!
By the way, CJ ran awesome. He led off, handed off to me in 1st. My only defense is I am out of shape (about 6 miles so far this month), but I handed off to him a good 40 seconds behind. He caught everybody and gave me a good 40 second lead. Jake still toasted me. But hey, that was my first run since my bad blisters from deciding to run on the beach barefoot. Not smart for a diabetic. But at least I kept those Liberty boys behind me at the finish!

Hey coach ward so if today is the last day of registration and there are 32 runners out of 36 possible attendants of the running retreat that means i'm going right?- o and yesterday before i ran i ate 4 slices of pizza :/ not smart haha and i had a huge blister on my right foot from pounding many miles

Your feet must have been killing you guys. I know I hate it when I get blisters from running (usually caused by running in wet socks). They hurt so bad.
CoachSpongeBob thanks for the praise on the race. I was hoping to win but I guess you can't win them all. Anyways I wouldn't be to hard on yourself, you ran well. And like you said you did keep Meadows and Dougherty from passing you.

no see thats not fair if meadows had been paired with a decent partner he wouldve blown coach bob away. unfortunately, i have a steady regimen of running once a month so far, continually forget to take my asthma medication, and ate way too much indian food an hour before running. not only that, but i ran stupid.
while i agree that coach bob put me away, meadows ran on another level compared to myself
PS - i did pass you coach, but i ran too stupid to hold it there
