Greg LeMond - he won it 3 times
Only 5 americans have ever worn the yellow jersey even for just one stage (Hincapie and someone else were the other two...I'm having a hard time remembering the last one right now)

Wow - isn't this big. Landis tested positive after stage 17. They are checking another sample, and if it is the same result, this would be a pretty big hit for American cycling and the Tour De France.

I don't know why People would ever use steroids, Not only are they bad for you in the long run, but it's just cheating. Anyways I hope the results come back clean... If not that would be a major let down to a lot of people.

He wasn't using steroids - and if you read it is pretty clear he won't come up clean in the second test, but he still may get away with it. What he got caught with every biker in the tour does, he just may have gone over the line.

What he got caught with every biker in the tour does, he just may have gone over the line. A steroid is something the enhances the bodies ability to perform, so if what he took helpped him to perform better then I consider it a steroid. And just because every other biker uses it does not make it right. Cheating is cheating no matter how it is done.

There were allegations against, his good friend and former tour winner, Lance Armstrong and now Floyd failed his test. coincidence. I think not.

First, Floyd did not fail the test, he had high levels. Big difference.
Second, Lance never failed a test, or even had high levels, and he was the most tested athlete in the tour de france (or any sport). He welcomed every test, and they practically tested him every other day. They just hated him cause he was taking their famous race, and breaking all the records. They didn't want an American to be considered the best of all time. They have never found any actual evidence, or anything close to it.

All I have to say is lets look at his history... He cheated death. He cheated Cancer. He cheated on his wife, and he cheated on the tour.

He never cheated on his wife or the Tour De France. And cheating Death and Cancer, they would be the exact same thing. Your repeating yourself. Quit just listening to headlines and actually get the facts straight.

Wow Matt, I know that my post here isn't really more productive, but way to have a completely worthless post that just says "OWNED"
as for Lance, I'm just against how everyone and their mother got a livestrong band and half of them did it as a fashion statement.

Who cares why they buy it, it's for a great cause, so let them wear it as a fashion statement. It's helping find a cure.
