I hear that we may be getting more bad weather, which could make running outside pretty difficult. I know personally I find that treadmills and bikes don't seem to do much for me... does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a good workout in.

Outside of today, it seems like all week should be good for running, and honestly I wish I would have gone out running today when it first was snowing.

I'm going to be optimistic. Our track is black so if it gets pretty sunny and warm like it is supposed to it should be cleared off. My only concern would be the field events and our first turn doesn't get a lot of sun. We should be good to go though.

Actually it changed from when I looked at it and said that. It is supposed to be above freezing today and in the 40's tomorrow with 50's on Monday and Tuesday that should help to melt it pretty quick.

We have a lot of kids. We have 129 on the team - which is over 10% of the school. Girls are huge - about 20 more girls then guys. We have a lot of youth too. about 70-75% of the girls are freshman and sophomores.

Sounds like the meet is going to be very long on Wednesday. I heard that Coach Snyder had entered only 2 of the 4 teams so far and their was 35 boys in the 400!!
Jose - How big is your boys team?
We aren't even bringing our whole team. only could get two buses, so we have over 30 kids we are going to wait till the second meet for.

That is some good inside info you have. It is going to be longer than I initially expected it to be, especially the sprints. We are going to do the best we can to make things go as quickly as possible. I really wasn't expecting these types of numbers.

........ I thought nsnyder was a coach at South Carroll for some reason? It's cool that we have a Frederick county Coach on here. Our Boys team is larger in size than last year not sure i'd say about 60.

Our track is almost completely melted off and the discus area should be tomorrow. The only area I am a little concerned about is our shot put area but we are going to work on it today so that should be good to go also.

I, in all 3 years of track under my belt, have never ran at TJ's track, or school for that matter. we've always done their xc race at kemptown and we've never gone to a track meet there. what is their school like? rural? the track any good? i know our quad meet is going to be a distance stockpile with urbanas medley of guys, TJ's ebert-zavos, and our bit of talent. one question, is liberatore finally doing the spring sport he was ment to do or is he doing lax?
