Liberatore decided on lax again.
I didn't realize TJ ever ran xc races at Kemptown. I know Linganore runs their meet their, but the only meets I have gone to where TJ hosted was at TJ.

We haven't had many meets since I've been there, 5 years...I think only the ones we've had are the ones I ran last year. I don't think we've hosted a XC race in the past 4 years, you might be thinking of Lancer, which is run by Linganore at Kemptown. I put together a course last year at TJ but we haven't had a meet there yet. I'm still fine-tuning it a bit. I might have a small meet there this year but I haven't decided.
Our school is right in Frederick, right off of 15. Our track was just resurfaced two years ago I think but it wasn't done by the best people and we have a few small issues that I'm still working on getting fixed. All in all it is in pretty good condition. It is fairly soft, not like Middletown's which I think is pretty hard. I do have two small complaints about our facilities...1 there is only 1 pit for long jump and triple jump and 2 the runways for long/triple and pole vault are ashphalt and not synthetic (Tell your coaches about this...I will e-mail them also)
This is definitely a distance heavy meet. No doubt Urbana will bring their big distance guns, as of me typing this I still don't have their entries so I don't know for sure, and with both of your teams and a few of my guys it should make for some interesting distance events. I'm guinea-pigging some things to mix it up so we'll see.
Oh and by the way our track and all runways are free and clear. We are good to go. Maybe a little sloppy in discus area but it'll be ok.

you are correct, i was thinking about linganores race at kempton, lancer invite.
well its good to hear that the track is clear and fairly new. if the weather cooperates today and tomorrow it should be a fun first race to get our feet wet in.
i completely agree with it being a distance heavy meet and im sure that times will be fast. good luck to everyone and hopefully this meet will be pulled off without any issues.

Distance heavy? I may be missing one, but I see that at this meet their will be 3 individuals that have won 4 individual state championships. All 4 are in the field events!!
