I almost feel sorry for her, but you have to finish through the line. Plenty of time to celebrate after you win.

It was her first ever marathon, and after 26.2 miles, and did you see that girls kick. Honestly, I don't think even if she saw her if she would have been able to beat her. So yeah, I do feel sorry for her a bit. I don't think she let up and that's why she lost. You shouldn't look behind you in a race, and she didn't. But that was a kick you would see in a 1600, not a marathon. That girl was still moving when she lost.
So a part of me does feel sorry for her.
