After the great times this weekend it looks like this should be a pretty fun meet. Let's hope the T-storms hold off.

It should be a lot of fun. I like the idea of combining the girls and guys scores together, I think they should have more races like that. And the trophy idea is pretty cool as well.
If it rains will they reschedule the event.

I hate the idea of combining scores. We have different coaches and run different workouts at our school, for some reason it just doesn't sit well with me.

We have different coaches for our sprinters, throwers and distance but both the guys and girls do the same workouts under their respective coaches. I think by combining the scores they helps give a better sense of team unity, plus it's different so it makes the meet more interesting.

We have a guys distance coach and girls distance coach. Then one for sprinting/jumps and another for throwing. There will be seperate scores from what I am told and there will be a boys and girls winner, but the trophy will be combined score. So, what will you be running CJ and how has your season been going?

My season has been going pretty well so far, of course I still would like to improve my times but I am doing much better then I was at the beginning of last season. As for tommorrow our coach will tell us today. But most likely I will be running the 4x800, 1600, 800, and either the 3200 or 4x400.
How are you doing this season?

Pretty well so far. Our 4x8 team ran a PR of 8:16 last Saturday and I ran a PR in the open 800 of 1:57.8.

That's really good, I'd be glad if I ran under a 2:07 in the 800.
