i was talking to my freind at school (i go to fsk), and i was kinda sad that the top three in the county are graduating. and then i thought, where does that leave our team next year. we have an ok string, but not much.

Westminster and FSK lose the most to graduation, the other boys teams I would think will all be better.

To answer fsk09's question about how their team will be, I think they could still be pretty good. If they could get both Hauflers to run XC, that could help them to establish a solid top 3. Jesse Winter and DJ had pretty good track seasons so they should use that to help motivate them in summer training. Anyway, it all comes down to puting the miles in over the summer. Look at how much Jordan improved from his freshman year just by continuing to put in the miles.

I feel that WM will be the team to beat next year for they have a pretty solid team and the best coach i've ever been trained by, but i personally hope that my old team, FSK, will continue to do well.

I think it will be between SC, NC, Century...Liberty...Westminster...FSK...and Winters Mill. Yeah, that's who I think (in no particular order). Same thing for the girls

The Century girls look great for next year. But not to be looked past the county champions from last year SC, who return all 3 of their top 3 that finished in the top 6 in the county. The county girls meet should be awesome next year!!!

idk i still agree with that FSK just needs to work hard and put in the miles, and that'll go a long way, but WM will be harde to beat

Champions are made in the offseason, and some of the best boys teams over the last 10 years in the county were not the 'trendy' pick to win it to most people predicting in May before the season started.
My pick for boys, I think there are a number of teams that could win it, but it all depends on who puts the work in (builds that base) over the summer. Certainly a team could become a state champion like FSK and Liberty over the last few years, but it takes a summer of goal setting and determination. I couldn't pick a team at this point because I don't know who will actually put the work in. Don't need to point somebody out and give other teams motivation to beat them:)

well, based off of this post, i hear that any team will be good, like always, Carroll county has all good teams, there arent any bad teams, just teams that are greater than other teams.
