OMG, i was at practice and they said we cant run on the roads!!1 why? they said "saftey", and its a county rule, but i think their lying. lets take bake the roads!!!!!

Yeah they told us that my senior year...we were only to run on sidewalks and trails. It's definitely a pain to not be able to run on the roads. I see the logic...but I think it would make more sense to teach kids who to actually run on roads.

A silly rule - if they just thought about educating both runners and drivers, but safety always trumps that. It has actually been a county rule for about 16 years now.
