So do you think winters mill has the county title wrapped up or do you think that some team, or the rest of the county as a whole can keep them from winning the county title.  |

I don't know, I think the Century girls can give them a run for their money.
Never good to get too confident, your just giving someone motivation to beat you...

This is true that is why we all show up to race but i wanna kno who you think has the best chance to take down the power house of winters mill on the boys side i think that on the girls side century has a win next to there name

Wasn't it impressive today that Maura wasn't able to finish (but thankfully it seemed she is alright) and yet they still won the meet - against quality competition.
I saw a Century girl finish the JV race in what I bet was the #12 girl on the team for Century overall (varsity and JV) in 23:06! Only River Hill and Mt Hebron would have had a #5 girl that beat Century's #12 girl!!! Wow!

Yeah, Century's girls have a lot of depth which is going to make them a tough team to beat.
As for the whole Winters Mills boys thing, on paper they seem to be the best pick for county champions. But Like people already said anything can happen in a race, so I wouldn't be over confident.
Also, shortround, I wouldn't call winters mills a "power house" it make you seem pretty arrogant. You have to remember, just because you may be the best in the county (which we won't know if this is true until counties) you still have a long way to go. After all you did lose to Mt hebron by 80 points (not to take anything away from you guy).

Hey calm down Jake. This shortaround kid is jesse albright from north carroll. I really dont appreciate him making our program look bad because we really arent saying winters mill is a "powerhouse" or anything like that. I also think its really arrogant for him to pull out a team like that and give it bad karma.

I think my previous post came out wrong... I have nothing against wintermills team. Infact I believe wintersmill has the best chance to win counties (on the guys side). But looking at the bigger picture (states) is another story. Now I'm not saying they can't win states, because they very well could, I was just trying to point out that winning counties (although it is a great feat) isn't all that important compared to winning states.
Oh, and just to clear things up so people don't get the wrong idea about South carroll... I no longer run for SC (I already graduated)

I am sry once again and i wish you all the best tomorrow at Bull run and to everyone running tomorrow. And i am sry to anyone that it made mad i was just try to have a conversation about running and who everyone thought could beat you all i didn't mean for anyone to get mad about it
