Word I hear is that Carroll County, seeing how the MVAL championship meet is a repeat of counties, is talking of doing something with this meet. Indoors I know the coaches liked the idea of eliminating the meet, and just have the county championship also be the conference championship. In outdoor track & field they were talking about making the MVAL meet the JV meet, and the next week at Varsity counties - have that count as both the MVAL and County Championships.
Of course since they kept it 4 conferences, they may still only have 3 indoors because of facilities, which may mean we can't eliminate the meet like the coaches hoped. They can only eliminate it if our conference is only carroll county.
