I don't see any results on Running Maryland for the Smithsburg Invite. What kind of times did everyone put up in the 800, 1600, and 3200? Also, someone said Liberty girls got 2nd, but how did the other county teams do? Great job to everyone at Clear Spring, especially the North Carroll girls for dominating everyone, even without Hursey. It was a good way to open the season.

Century went around an 8:36 in the 4x8, Liberty 8:43. Liberatore led off with a 1:59 (slightly short leg) and Brent Dawson ran right behind him, maybe 2:00 (I usually add 2 seconds to this leg since it starts a bit short).
Eric didn't look great after the 4x8, but came back pretty strong to take 3rd in the 1600 in a time of 4:43.
Dylan Bernard of Urbana swept the 1600 and 3200 in dominating fashion. Brendan Dulaney was the top County runner in the 3200, but I didn't catch his time.
In the 800, it seemed to be a more technical race (outside of Stine getting out in front). Liberatore took 2nd in 2:06 holding off Cole of Williamsport.
Girls - Liberty ran 10:36 in the 4x8 to win, no other county teams broke 11. Carly Reed went 5:42 in the 1600 to take 3rd. She also took 2nd in the 3200, missed the time though, probably just under 12:30. Lisa Robbins led the county in the 800 in a time of 2:40 (again a technical race). Not sure who the Westminster girl was that she outleaned at the finish.
Those were the distance events. I will get results eventually.

I thinnk i passed Eric just before the handoff, but whatever i was happy with the time
4x400 century was first county school in third. i split 51, pat wachter 59, jeff hohl, 58, theron johnson 57.
Eric did race with his heart today, it was fun to watch.
think my 2 mile test failed so i'll be running the 800 from now on.
Who will be there next friday?

North High Developmental Meet. Liberty will be there. I thought I heard all of Frederick County would be there, if I remember right, 5 of the 7 county teams will be there.
Brent, you were close to eric, but you hadn't gotten him. Also remember, as leadoff leg (4x4) you ran a short leg.

Westminster Boys got 4th I belive, led by our pole vaulters, throwers, and of course Lopez on the hurdles. We actually got off to a much better start than I-and pretty much everyone-had anticipated.

I have the boys results up, but I haven't gotten the girls results yet. Hoping I get them soon.
I am also (hopefully) working on top performances list for Carroll County. The bad news is, from my understanding, the meet on Friday they won't be taking times, so I won't be getting official results and won't be able to use any times/marks from this meet for the top performances list.
Coach Snyder - how are you handleing that for your performance list?
