Unless we know what teams get and lose it is hard to make any predictions. For instance, usually James Ways plays baseball, if he is playing baseball again this year, that would be a big difference in predictions then if he was running. Another is everybody would assume Jake Zamostny is fine, but he did miss states due to a knee injury. If for some reason he wasn't able to run outdoor track, it would change the predictions for the boys distance greatly.
I can tell you that Liberty looks to be stronger then indoors. We didn't lose much from indoor but gain a lot. We did lose two guys from our 4x8 team indoors that play lacrosse. We did gain a couple football players for our throws squad, as well as one of the top returners in boys discus. We gained a number of new soccer players that could potentially help our short & long sprints as well as our middle distance. Hard to tell what effect they will have just yet. For our girls, we had a ton of freshman girls come out, many who played soccer, and many should make our team deep. But again hard to tell just yet their effect.
We do gain a number of varsity athletes from a year ago that didn't do indoor track & field - James Fencil, Dan Baker, Shannon Kelleher, Chris Thompson, Christine Artman.
We are really looking forward to our first meet. I will give a better preview of our team when I know more about them (only one practice so far). Tell us about your team - what new athletes look to be impact athletes, did you lose anybody from indoors?

What about practice on Saturday? If you didn't practice on Saturday, you won't be eligible for the first meet (athletes are not eligible till 20 days after their first date they report to practice - so if you report tomorrow for the first time - March 3rd, you won't be eligibile till March 23rd).

well for westminster we have the best shot putter and discus thrower in the countie: Brendan Morales. Our 4x8 is getting better and could be in the running for top 3 in the county. Finally Ryan Taylor in the 1600 and 3200 could give a big threat in the county meet this year.

For winters mill we only loose James Ways. Not like its a big loss or anything haha. We will be strong in the distance and mid distance and our sprints will be pretty strong. Our relay teams will take a huge hit though without James.

All this talk about the guys, but nothing about the girls.
runner3 - why is it I can't find any results for Andrew Gibbons from outdoor track last year?

The Westminster boys are looking strong this season. Man do i miss running in high school. This wednesdays tri meet at North Carroll with Winters Mill and Westminster should be very competitive. Im thinking top three will be Century, North Carroll and Westminster (boys).
