I guess it was only a matter of time till we tried to do this. Baltimore county has one, Frederick County, Howard County and Montgomery County. We are going to try and keep this up to date as we get results. This is the top 5 in each event according to the results we get. We list the meets that are included at the bottom. The hardest part was getting it up, but more coaches have said they are going to send us results, so we should easily be able to update this all the time. Again this is only the start. www.errun.org/CarrollCounty2006TopPerformancesBoys.aspwww.errun.org/CarrollCounty2006TopPerformancesGirls.asp

ok, so i guess im gonna ask this. are you, whoever is in charge of this, planning on including any of the meets westminster and SC have taken part in. as of right now, i could be # 2 on 2 of those lists, first in 1, and top 5 in another. just wondering...

As we get results, they will be included. We obviously can't put up times for results we don't have. Coaches have said they are going to start sending us results, and this will always be updated.

8 of the 10 meets Carroll County teams have been participated in are now in that Performance List for both boys and girls. The only meets not included is the meet at Westminster on 3/22 (should have this all up to date within the week), and the meet at FSK on 3/28 (Walkersville coach said he was going to fax it).

For the Performance List, I need anybodies opinion. When I get the relay meet results, should I put top performances from some of the stranger relays (6400 meter relay, SMR, DMR). With Lancer Relays, James Fraser Relays and Blue Ridge Relays, there isn't many chances to really put up times.
What do you think?

i think that those such relays could be included in a seperate category at the bottom of the list unless that creates a much bigger amount of work to do so. they're not part of normal meets, but sufficient schools are going to enough of them that they should be recognized.

Performance List now include 19 of the 22 meets contested.
NC Girls now have the top mark/time in 13 of the 18 events.
Individuals that lead multiple events:
Alexis Hurd, NC - 100, 200, 400, Long Jump Katie Hursey, NC - 800, 1600, 3200 Dana Reeser, Century - Shot Put, Discus Jared Welsh, FSK - 1600, 3200 Nick Hruch, Liberty - 400, 800, Triple Jump, High Jump
I know Katie Hursey was a member of the NC 4x8 team that has the best time. I am sure Alexis was on at least one of the NC relay teams with the best time. Nick was on both the Liberty 4x4 and 4x8 that posted the #1 time. Nick is now ranked in 10 events counting the 4x4 and 4x8

Some good performances for us (Liberty) at the Zimmerman Invite. They run the 1500 and 3000, so those times don't get included (although some of them converted would make the list). I am sure after I get results from the FSK Invite some of these performance rankings will change, but here are the ones that did make the list. When I get the FSK Invite results I will do the same for that meet:
Liberty Girls 4x800, 10:28.7, 3rd on Carroll Performance List Rachel Gearhart, Liberty, HJ, 4'8", Tied for 5th on Carroll Performance List Anna Bloom, Liberty, TJ, 31'0.75", 3rd Lisa Robbins, Liberty, 800, 2:37.6, 5th Liberty Boys 4x800, 8:28.7 (without Hruch), 1st Alex Paczynski, Liberty, 300H, 44.4, 4th Kyle Hagy, Liberty, HJ, 5'8", 4th Nick Hruch, Liberty, 800, 1:59.2, 1st Brad Williams, Liberty, TJ, 44'0", 1st
Nick broke 2 officially, only the second one in the county that I know of since Jesse O'Connell (Brian Leiter). But ask him how those pretzels felt that he ate right before the race (he wasn't suppose to run).

AHHHH Nick! i told someone to bring me a pretzel and i pray tell someone did. the FSK invite provided some decent times including the top 2 mile time in the county so far (10:01 kelvey) im not sure how other times compare but 800 win was very unexpected, especially by me, and i'd like to think i could give Hruch a run for his money, ha. brad williams looks to be back in action quite well.
