so i noticed that the two posts in that forum contradict themselves a tad. I'm on the wait list on the second post, but not on the one edited yesterday. Should I assume that I'm not going?

Unfortunately ERR and WRRC are different clubs. It is only $5 to join ERR (thus why their was a difference in the camp prices - only a $5 difference, so your paying for your membership. But you get other perks with being a member, like access to the member only areas on the website like the newsletter, discounts at running stores, discounts on races organized by ERR, etc)

Jose, I thnk you are on the wait list now, and it sounds like there should be room, so I would send in that registration.
A lot of things going on here in Eldersburg, that's why we are kind of slow getting back to you.

I never really understood the point of running camps, it seems to me that you just pay money to run instead of doing it yourself for free. Now, I know it gives you a chance to run with a group rather the individually but what else do they offer and are they really Worth it.

actually, there is a lot more to xc then just running, and thats what camps focus on mostly. The ERR Camp does a lot of activities, games and things like that. And the running is a chance to run somewhere else with a group, meet new people. Best sports camp I ever went to (and I went to all sorts of types) was a running camp (and in high school I was a HUGE basketball and soccer player). They are usually a lot of fun.
