Just to see what everyone's favorite course is and why.

You have to vote on your own quiz colin!
I always liked McDaniel, and SC is tough (makes it good), and my PR is on the old Westminster course (when it was a tough 5K), but I like Liberty. So much strategy involved in our course, and I have been a part of its growth over the last 12 years (I helped build the original 2 bridges, mulched the woods numerous times, etc). I tink it has a little bit of everything too. The Liberty kids may not like it cause we run it so much, but I surely have run it more then anybody (at least in the top 2, not sure how many times Coach Jones has run it)

I like the 3rd mile of SC with the steep, rocky hill followed by the downhill trail running.

Yeah I like the Liberty course too. It's probly my number 2 pick. That hill in the 2nd mile and again in the 3rd is pretty unique and a fun way to finish.

South Carroll is just a fantastic course. It starts out with that long uphill, and the rest of the first mile is just winding through the woods. The second mile is a pain, especially right after the baseball field, and then (like Colin said) the steep hill in the woods. That hill really shows who has the guts to push it through at the end, kind of like killer hill at Liberty.

Although it does get a little boring because I run it so often, I would have to go with SC's Course. Not only does it provide a good workout, but I love the wooded section of the course.

From what people have posted so far it seems that most people will enjoy the county meet this year, seeing it is at SC. I know I am glad it here because not only is it my favorite course in the county but it will give our team a home field advantage.

YEA! dont say things like that until its .....something. idk about everyone else but i'd like my senior year to be at mcdaniel just to see my final year of progression. please tell me its still there, its one of my favorite courses but i like not to pick favorites mostly.
not to be biased but i would have to say i like my home course. like spongebob, i helped paint the bridges and prepare the course for our meet. its nice to actually be a Part of something like that. but anyway, i like our course. it has a flat speed part at the beginning but after that, the next mile + is hilly. then the final 1200m or so is kinda flat again for a final dash to the finish.

I also enjoy the McDaniel course and though it would be there as well, seeing it has been there in the past. But I heard from someone on my team that we were hosting it this year and I just double checked on HighSchoolSports.net and it said the same thing. According to their web site the meet will be on Thursday 10/26 at SC 4:00PM.
I'm not sure if it will stay true seeing these schedules usually get changed by the time the season starts.

Gotta go with South Carroll, even though we must have ran there more times than I can count. Its wood sections are the best I've raced in. McDaniel is alright, but I liked it much better before they switched it all around.

Now I'm wondering...do NC and WM even have XC courses? I'm guessing that if they do they must not be any good since no one has voted for/mentioned them.
