I think I have seen WM's course but I am not sure. Is theirs the one that you run through the tunnel.

Yeah and the massive hill on the 2nd mile. We ran counties there my sophomore year.
CJ...why are you up at 5:40 in the morning on a Saturday?? It's summer man.

OK, now that I know what course it is, I would have to agree with your previous post about their course not being bad but not great.
And the reason I am up at 5:40 in the morning is because I'm a morning person so I usually get up early to begin with, but it also doesn't help that we have a baby in the house who starts crying around 4:30 every morning.

So what is NC's course like? highschoolsports.net says that Liberty, South Carroll, Walkersville, and North Carroll have a quad meet there so I'm just curious of what to expect.

From what I hear NC keeps changing their course from year to year (which would make it hard to explain). Plus, I'm not sure if they have hosted a meet in a while. I know our school has not run their in five years.

I believe NC hosted the CMC championships in 2002. SC ran in that (4 years ago).

one course that i know only NC and westminster kids have run, but i think is a challanging but good one is watkins mills course. we ran there for regionals this year and i ran something like 17:50's. its a 5k and i wouldnt call it flat at all. some good big hills and a few flat spots.

We need to run regionals in a place like that. Middletown is alright for a regular season race, but because it is so flat I don't think it really proves who the best cross country runners in the region really are.

I ran at Watkins Mill for Regionals all 3 years in high school. It's a good xc course. I don't know if its the same as when we ran, but there was that one tough downhill where you had to make a 90 degree turn into the woods and then go up that tough up hill. You also couldn't wear the big spikes cause there was a good bit of asphault.
Great course, all regional championships should be run on courses like that. I like that course even better then SC.

haha, i musta picked a good one if coach approves of it!
yea, its basically the same as what you described. quite a large hill that you have to go both up and down. also the woods section is very difficult not only because of hills, but because of roots, rocks, soccerballs......yea, its a good'ne

Liberty's course is an invigorating mix of hills and straight-a-ways...alright, I lied...but it is the best course for our county because all of the other ones suck more

I'll pick FSK's course just because it is the only one that I have ever run. I know it changes a lot but when I ran on it I didn't hate it too much.
