Friday's Scrimmage against Severna Park will probably start around 5:00. The boys will go first (JV and Varsity), and the girls will start 5 minutes later (JV and Varsity). We should wrap up and be out of there no later then 6:30.
Before Severna Park gets there we will be setting up the course and going over several things.
No uniforms on Thursday. Wear Blue or Gold shirts!

If anybody wants me to make the the CD Case Label, just post on here and I will make you one. I have no problem making them, I just didn't have card stock at the time. I just got some.
The CD Case Label will have all the song names on it, as well as a cover.

So is there still an optional practice tomorrow? I know we run in the rain but if it's severe enough to get us out of school things might change.

It's TJ, Linganore and Frederick (last year only Frederick Girls).
Sorry, that was a slip on my part - it's at Liberytown. So used to running at Kemptown for Linganore meets.

Congrats to all of MVRs so far: Libertytown:- Shannon Henretty – In her first race Shannon already has shown huge improvements in her running. She finished 9th on the team, coming in with a strong last mile.
- Kim Alonge – The senior ran excellent splits as she rounded out the varsity team for the girls in their 2nd place finish as a team.
- Karl Bohn – Karl has improved immensely in a year. He improved his place on the team from a year ago at this meet by 11 places and improved his time by 1 minute and 49 seconds.
- Alex Almonte – Alex stepped up and made the varsity team for the first time in his career. He ran a very strong second half of the race and was able to displace runners from other teams.
Westminster:- Caitlyn Hill – Caitlyn had a huge improvement from her first meet, jumping 8 spots on the team. She ran very good splits on a difficult course.
- Lauren Ridder – Lauren led the JV girls with a great race that earned her a spot on the varsity team for the upcoming invitational meet at Brunswick. She used a strong first mile, and a good finish to help her to the mark.
- Tim Souders – Tim has closed the gap to create a nice pack of guys for Liberty. This was the sophomore’s first top 25 finish in an invitational, but surely not to be the last.
- Andy Cobun – Andy improved by 6 places on the team by using a strong first mile putting him up in a new pack. He dug deep for a nice finish despite having little left in the tank.
Brunswick:- Lisa Robbins – Lisa guided the two varsity freshman girls throughout the race, to help them to their best races of the year. Without her efforts the team would not have been able to claim the second place trophy.
- Alison Bradley – After her freshman year where she was constantly fighting injuries, Alison is finally running injury free and her performances are improving greatly because of it. She placed 11th on the team, the first time earning a point in her career.
- Pat Dougherty – Definitely his best race of the season, he ran a strong consistent race, passing runners the entire way. He stepped it up for the team when they needed it most when they lost a runner to injury.
- Billy Harkins – Constantly a leader, getting the younger runners ready for their race, Billy also stepped it up on the course today. Finishing 8th on the team, his best finish in his career, Billy brought it in with a strong final mile and kick.
Beall- Michele Lambert – Pulling away from everybody quickly, Michele won her first race on the very challenging course. She seemed to have a bounce in her step, that helped her glide over the hills.
- Devin Calambro – Staying close to the number one girl from Beall, Devin had her best race of the year with a top 10 finish.
- Sam Schlachter – With the guys missing 4 of their top 5, they needed someone to step up and that’s what Sam did. Sam is one of the few if not only runner to run faster today then on Saturday as he moved up to 5th on the team.
- Sean Dougherty – Sean also moved up considerably with his best race of the year. Sean actually ran faster on this tough hilly 5K course then he did at the flat 3 mile course at the beginning of the season.
