For running...I'd suggest Bullet for my Valentine. Their drummer is amazing and the beat is awesome to run to.

Billy Talent is pretty good, Styx is a must for me (haha i'm a loser), Heart of the Sunrise by Yes has an amazing guitar, Bullet for My Valentine is sweet, and ZZ Top and the Who are amazing too..... Yeah, i like rock..
