A lot of great performances, but I have to say one that really impressed me, not just cause of the result, but with the way he raced, was Brendan Dulaney. Great job Brenday, not many may have given you much of a chance (in fact, right before the race, I heard an FSK runner say "we've got 1-2-3 in the 3200 easy, just a question of who is first and who is second) - so congrats on that one. You really ran with some heart, and ran well too!

I'd say from what I saw the 2 people that impressed me most were:
1. Brent Dawson - 2nd (barely) in the 500 and winning the 800
2. Andrew Cross - Cause he 5th place in the 3200, and thats just insane

I agree with everyone up there and would add Danny Bosse and Nick Hruch in the 3200R. Nick ran an amazing split whether he was sick or not. Danny has had a hurt hip for the past week and although he didnt run his best split he gutted it out in the end. Regionals and states are gonna be fun in that race. By the way, thanks libvaultzero.

All I can say is I was impressed by the way Andrew ran. He looked confident and was right up at the front. It'll be interesting to see how he runs in outdoor.
And, thanks Coach Ward. I felt great in the race and was trying to do all I could for my team. Also, I'm impressed by your ability to always bring your team up from the beginning of the season, and to always replace any people you may lose to graduation and whatnot. At the first meet, I believe we beat you guys by 1/2 of a point. Today, you crushed us. Granted, there are always circumstances about injuries and things, but you always seem to have your team in top shape when it counts-Congratulations on being co-champions.

Interesting fact - I THINK (I could be wrong) that of the 10 individual champions from counties, 9 of the 10 were seniors (only Eric Liberatore is not a senior, winning the 1600). Of course, Issa Connell of NC should be back next year, and he had won both the 55 and 300 county championships last year - in fact in faster times then were won this year. But still, could be a wide open meet again next year.

I agree with everyone, it was a great meet (despite our poor team showing) and congrats to Dulaney, Cross, Dawson, and Hruch for their performances. I'm sorry I wasn't closer there with Eric in the 1600 and 800, but I'm looking forward to the next couple meets and to next year which should be wide open like Coach Ward said. Good luck to everyone at MVALs.
