It is possible that some of the coaches might just use Mountain run as a workout... which wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Coach P would never hold back Varsity. We ran pretty strong today at Mountain Run and will come back strong at our Invite. Anyways, here's a quick recap of today's meet: Rachel Sykes SC 1st in about 20:45 Erin Slifer SC 4th not far behind Catherine Robinson 3rd for SC in her first race back from HoCo SC girls 5th behind Century I believe I got 3rd in 17:14, but apparently there were problems with the results and that may not be the time. Arthur won, supposedly in low 16's, but I was told I wasn't a minute behind and others said he was nowhere near low 16's. We'll see later. Jordan White was about 10s behind, with Holz close too. FSK won handily I think. We got 7th. Anyways, all of this is what I remember and could be off. Rachel definitely dominated the girls though.

I just finished writing the Meet REcap, Running Maryland and ERR should have it up by tomorrow morning (ERR by 7:00 am at the latest). I will have full results up tomorrow morning too (I also sent them to runningmaryland).
I will have rankings updated tomorrow. I got 184 pictures, and will try to get them up tomorrow. I finally started working on the pictures, and it should be much faster now tht I have it started. I got the Westmintser invite pictures up (30 of them at least) and will have another 100 up shortly. I came up with the idea how I want to post pictures when I have over 100 (like I do for 3 meets now). It should make it much easier and faster to get them up. Once I am set up (hopefully tomorrow) they will get up within a day or two of each meet. Sorry for the delay there.

Looks like FSK ran very well at Mt. Run, they just need to get there number 5 runner up with the rest of them.
Good job Jake and Rachel, keep up the good work and come back strong on Friday.

In case anybody was waiting on any of the stuff I said I would do today: What Have I finished?: - I put the results (varsity and JV) for the Mountain Run on the Results page (I had to clean them up some)
- I did the rankings and the have been updated
- I updated the top times list
- I fixed the pictures from the retreat (size issue) and have loaded them onto the server. I am making pages now
Next I will get started on the pictures from the Century Quad and the Moutain Run. Sorry, the stuff above took longer then expected - some my fault, some not. I think I am going to make the slight change to the XC results page to include links for the pictures and recap link more identifiable (is that a word?)

I did notice some complications during the JV race though. It seemed that the boys JV and Girls JV races started to overlap each other. Causing the JV girl runners to have to try to merge into the stampeding pack of guy runners as they went across one of the bridges in the woods.
It also looked as if the bridge was going to collapse at any second (so many people on it at once.
I could just be me, but I don't think SC is big enough to hold that many schools.
