I heard there are going to be 20 some schools at this meet (probably so the schools can get a feel for the regional course), does anyone have a list of the teams that are attending.

It has also come to my attention that Century/SC/FSK are all running at Mountain Run two days before the Invite which is going to be tough on these schools and could have an impact on their performance/team results.

Current List I have:
Arundel Bel Air Broadneck Century Elizabeth Seton Francis Scott Key Frederick Gonzaga boys Hammond Liberty Linganore Loyola boys Marriotts Ridge Mt. Hebron North Carroll Northwood Oakland Mills Reservoir River Hill Severna Park Smithsburg South Carroll South Hagerstown South River Tuscarora girls Urbana Winters Mill
Interestingly enough, South Carroll is the only team on this list from 1a South (1a South region meet is at SC).

Is there a site I can go to to see which schools are in which region?

Very good field coming. Looking at the rankings on runningmaryland - 7 of the top 25 girls teams will be there, 8 of the top 25 boys teams will be there including 5 of the top 10 and 7 of the top 14!

Looks like this meet will be a good one to go to (good thing for me it is one of the few meets I will be able to attend)
Hopefully Century, Clear Spring, FSK, SC, Urbana and Winters Mill will be able to recover from Wednesday's meet and come back strong Friday.

Clear Spring dropped. I just added two more teams, I think the list is complete now.

if im not mistaken this is the county championship course as well...i see 6 CC schools there so if you take the mountain run into account this could be a decent prediction a little deeper into the season.

Based on the list, the boys race ought to be a good one. Looks like a preview for 2A States with River Hill, FSK and Mt Hebron. Plus Loyola, Urbana, Bel Air and other decent teams.
Girls add Severna Park to the mix. I'm assuming they'll have a split squad again.
Would think SC would want to do better on Friday than at Mt Run today. Be interesting to see who holds back their "A" team today; otherwise two fairly tough courses within 48 hours fairly early in the season.

I saw that rumor was Urbana girls were going to split their squad between Mountain Run and the SC Invite too. Rumors aren't always true however...

I don't think it is Coach Pennington's style to hold back its A team, I could be wrong but I'm fairly sure he will have his team come back and run both meets.

That stinks for those teams running in Mountain Run and SC invite, and i agree their performance should definately be weaker than normal.
