The US is not looking too good right now. That 2nd goal by the Czech Republic was ridiculous.
I'm gonna predict that the US recovers and gets out of their group, but Brazil winsthe whole thing.
Any other predictions?

Down 3-0 now, it's done. They are going to have a lot of trouble getting out of this group. Now they must beat Italy, and Italy will need to play just as badly against Czech. Not looking too good (that or they don't play so well against Ghana).

I think Brazil will win over Germany. Germany hasn't looked too sharp in recent times, but they are home, and that gives a big lift! But not enough to beat the brazilian squad.

The US looks so flat. Ghana could help them and beat Italy though, they seem underrated to me. US pretty much needs US def. Ghana US def. Italy Ghana def. Italy Italy def. Czech Czech draw Ghana

Top 2 from each group move on, so they don't need Czech to lose, in fact, it might help them if Czech blows out Italy and Ghana. Best shot we have is to get 2nd place, but losing 3 to 0 puts us in a hole (Goal differential of -3 is not good, that's the largest margin of victory so far in the tournament).

Second place gives us Brazil (assuming they win theird pool) and that is pretty much a death sentence.

This is so exciting i hope that things turn out good in the end-it's funny that you guys get out of the running mentality and into the soccer thing for a bit.

I watched the first have of the Spain game today. Their team looked brilliant. Just about of all of their first touches were nearly perfect and they seemed to make all the right passes. They were up two nothing at half, and I don't think anybody could beat them if they continue playing like they did when I was watching.

How about the games today! Ghana upsetting the Czech Republic, and The USA ties Italy giving them their first point . This is going to make things interesting.
