1. FSK 2. Winters Mill 3. Westminster 4. Liberty 5. SC 6. NC 7. Century
These are my boys predictions based off of what I know so far. Although NC and SC could go either way 5/6.

Since no one else is posting anything as far as girls predictions... here is what I think so far.
1. Century 2. SC 3. Westminster 4. Liberty 5. Winters Mill 6. NC 7. FSK (not a full team)

I think the SC-Century match up could be really good. They each have beaten each other, but SC isn't at full strength yet (Emily Powell hasn't raced yet, Robinson has raced once and that was the one time they beat Century). Century is a younger team, and so they could improve the most as they gain experience. Westminster also has a very solid top 3, and as the rest of their team improves (they do have depth) they could get into the mix very well. I think the girls championship right now looks more exciting then the boys.

The girls race does look like it could be pretty exciting.
If Robinson and Powell come back, I believe that SC will be able to take Century.
What would make for a really interesting race would be if only one of the two come back and run (Powell or Robinson).

These next couple of meets between Century and SC could be very interesting.
With Powell back in the SC line up (although not at full strength yet she is running very well), and Erin Slifer coming on strong they are going to be a tough team to beat. It will be interesting to see how things play out.
Who knows this could be the year SC girls win their first state banner in school history.

here's my two cents: 1. FSK 2. Westminster 3. Winters Mill 4. Liberty 5. SC 6. NC 7. Century I'm sorry if i have offended anybody but that's the way the cookie seems to be crumbling. Of course, injuries, ineligibility, and illness could happen like that. I hear those westminster kids are real trouble makers and SC probably has a bout of the flu. We can only wait and see... well except for the last four being completely opposite, i'd say i did a bang up job predicting. not trying to be snooty or anything, but im nice like that. if we want to start next years predictions, take the first post and flip it completely upside down. check it

So are you saying that century is going to be the #1 team in the county next year?

No he means the first post of the thread. it would turn into this
1)Winters Mill 2)North Carroll 3)Century 4)Westminster 5)Francis Scott Key 6)Liberty 7)South Carroll
Which i agree with Winters Mill being first. With them only losing their #7 runner and FSK losing 4 of their top 5 Winters mill will pretty much dominate counties, mvals, and regionals. There is, of course, the small possibility of the other county teams picking up a few gifted freshman but with the top 4 runners of Winters Mill all having PRs under 16:30, coming up with enough new runners will be next to impossible.

Well if you convert those times to 5k times they are still very low 17's to mid 16's

11 Tringali, Eric Winters Mill 18:05.00 11 <- Counties 6 Tringali, Eric 10 Winters Mill 16:03.46 6 <- Regions
LOL...If you think Middletown isn't a short, pancake course than you are horribly wrong. Noone improves 2 minutes in 1 week. Winters Mill is good, but you count SC out way too much. I'll let our running do the talking next year.

Oh and congrats for wiping out my Lions Den race with all the absurd times from Middletown.
