Who do you think your competition will be this year in track? Which teams do you think will improve with new runners?

Hmm... That is an excellent question. I don't really know anything about other schools.

winters mill will remain tough through outdoor. great depth all around
fsk will be tough but won't have the depth to win counties
liberty usually gains strength in the expanded outdoor field events and will be a contender
century has great middle distance but not much else
north carroll with always has the strongest sprints but i'm convinced that winters mill beats them in that aspect which leaves them with little depth
south carroll...sorry but in the past 4-5 years they just don't have the athletes to compete at the county level
westminster always improves from indoor to outdoor. good hurdlers and improved field events could place them as a contender.
so i see the tier of county teams looking like this
Contenders: WM, Lib, West
Middle of the Pack: FSK, Cent, NC
Bottom: SC

I agree Winters Mill and Liberty will be tough, but i think North Carroll will surprise you.

Hmm... Why do you think that NC will be tough? Other than that I agree with your predictions for outdoor.

For the guys for wm i think your correct. The girls are getting some good freshman in for wm and i know they dont take indoor seriously.

well simply who does nc have?
issa connell- sprints mark young- jumps, hurdles stefan mitchell?-not sure if he's doing it because he just committed to shepherd for football. dustin mathers- distance
and i can't really think of anyone else. they lost so much in adami, burden, and becker. that's why they will be in the middle of the county this year as opposed to winning it.

Ok, i thought Mitchell would be running. Dont Forget Zach Westfall (if he runs) he is fast.

Does James Ways for Winters Mill do Outdoor Track? I don't think he did it last year, so I figured he was a lax or baseball player.
I heard rumor that Erica Diffendale (Winters Mill's top distance girl) might be a softball player?
I think you shouldn't count out a team like FSK either. They have gotten stronger in the outdoor season each of the last 2 years. Injuries hurt them last year and in indoor this year, but they could be a factor.
