the kid ran a 4.49? thats impresssive. i think that he'll be good, but i've never heard of him. i think that he'll get burnt out from training all indoor. its still to early to see whos gonna be really good.

I don't know fsk09, Scott doesn't take xc and indoor to serious but he is really pumped up for outdoor. We just had our 800 time trials yesterday and he got a 2:01 but he said he felt really good. I think he is gonna do awesome this year!

Yeah none of those times are true. Im scott and i havent gotten anywhere close to those times, although it would be nice. snarfmaster is making things up, i dont know why, maybe he is jealous. Either way whatever snarfmaster07(Tom Carpenter of WM) says, its usually not true

I was going to say 4:49 could have been true but 2:01 I could not see being true, if you had run a 2:01 then your mile would have been faster lol. Snarfmaster07 why would you say that if it was not true?

A 2:01 in a time trial would only have made someone look bad if they couldn't run that fast in a meet. And I've been lucky enough to coach some studs in the 800 (hruch 1:53.9, Liberatore 1:59, ridder 1:59), but nobody has ever come close to a 2:01 in a time trial, nobody gets that pumped up to beat their teammates.

Yea, my time trial pr is like a 2:07. 2:01 would be a crazy time. That would be like a 5-10 sec win on his teammates

Well we ran inside. our school has four floors so we ran those flights of stairs two towers of them because between them is like a long hallway. I was surprised at the creativity my coach put together. It was affective and worked us hard, i have a question though for the dual meet of us and South carroll is urbana really going to be there? last time i saw it was only us two but i looked at the schools meet schedule on here and Urbana shows up? did they confirm?

One of the advantages of being at Westminster is all that room in the school. We barely have any room in hallways for anything - so yeah, we were outside. it builds character. And it's fun running in the rain!!!
Coach Pennington said that Urbana was coming to that meet, they added a few weeks ago.

I did a speed workout in the rain. It felt pretty good. I was covered in mud by the end though.

We haven't heard much on the girls front, but with the boys, i have heard a number of teams that sound like they have gotten quite a bit better from their indoor teams. Should make for an interesting county. I know at Liberty we have added some freshman that should be making some noise (several that did real well at the 8th grade track play day last year). Should we be interested to hear more voices on the girls side though, give them some love too!

our distance team is looking pretty good we have added a senior Cross Country runner that has never run outdoor so we are excited. all in all yea our team improves a lot in outdoor from indoor and all the years that i have been running can confirm it. Today was a nice day for distance i just got back from an hour run through the city and up around Mcdaniel. Any one run today??
